Disaster Relief

Members of Antioch help with building and repairing homes and lives through the Brethren Disaster Ministries.  Most recently they have traveled to Tennessee, Indiana, and New Orleans to help with the rebuilding.  Members of Antioch, including the youth, also take day trips to New Windsor, Maryland, to pack health kits for places like the hurricane ravaged Haiti.

Service Saturday

"Service Saturday" was created so that the members of Antioch could serve people, families, or organizations in our community just as the Lord Jesus Christ served others.  In past years service projects have included work at the Shenandoah County Pregnancy Center, Response, cutting wood, making bagged lunches for the less fortunate in our community, and doing yard work for church members.

Family Promise of Shenandoah County

The Family Promise Network Program brings shelter, meals, and support services to families without homes through a network of local congregations.  Antioch is one of 13 host congregations in Shenandoah County that houses homeless families for a period of one week, four times a year.
